Keith Jarrett, Founder and President of Rockport Solutions
Keith Jarrett serves as a private equity investor and an advisor to investment firms, as well as a board member of several companies. He currently is on the public board of Raymond James Financial Heritage Fund and serves on the private boards of BankServ, San Francisco (former Chairman) and PerTrac, LLC, NY. He also is an advisor to Vestmark, Inc., Boston, Hamilton Investment Partners, NYC, Salmon River Capital, NYC, and The Retirement Income Industry Association, as well as a Principal in Rockport Funding, LLC and Ajax Mountain Partners, LLC. From 1986-2001, Keith was a founding member and senior executive of Thomson Financial, a leading vendor of information and technology solutions to the global financial community. During this time, Keith founded and directed Thomson Financial’s Corporate Venture Capital Group, served as the CEO of all non-US operations for seven years, and founded and developed many of the products and services for Thomson Financial’s Straight Through Processing (“STP”) initiatives, including the Thomson Electronic Settlement Group (now “Omgeo”) and AutEx TradeRoute. Keith joined Thomson Financial in 1986, with the acquisition of First Call/Technical Data Corporation, where he was a Principal and Chief Economist. Keith has an M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a Ph.D. in Financial Economics from Harvard Business School. He worked as a Research Associate at the Harvard Business School and as a Professor at Simmons College Graduate Management Program. Previously, Keith served as a Captain in the U.S. Army after graduating with honors from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Josh Lewis, Chairman of the PFS Advisory Board
Josh Lewis is Founder and Managing Principal of Salmon River Capital, a leading investor in the financial services technologies sector. He has over 20 years of venture capital and private equity experience across a broad range of growth industries. Previously, he was a Partner of Warburg Pincus, where he served for over a decade, and a Partner of Forstmann Little & Co. He was also previously associated with Lehman Bros. and Noble Grossart Ltd.
Frank Smith, Co-Founder of PerTrac Financial Solutions
Frank Smith is Co-Founder of PerTrac. Frank launched the company with Milt Baehr in 1996 with the mission to provide solutions for the technological needs of the financial industry. His earlier experience include serving as a principal of Witter & Lester, Inc., a Registered Investment Advisor and Commodities Trading Advisor specializing in stock index futures and options, as well as Managing Director of both Morgan Keegan & Co., Inc. and Equitable Securities. Frank currently serves on the board of Crichton College and is actively engaged in fund-raising and leadership roles for various industry, community and non-profit organizations. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BA in Economics.
Peter Sobiloff, Managing Director of Insight Venture Partners
Peter Sobiloff is Managing Director of Insight Venture Partners, a private equity/venture capital firm that invested in PerTrac in 2005. Peter joined Insight in 1998 following the sale of Think Systems to i2 Technologies. Immediately prior to joining Insight, he was Vice President of Business Development at i2 Technologies (1997-1998). Peter was previously President of Think Systems, a supply chain management software company backed by Insight. Prior to this, he was President of Datalogix, a vendor of enterprise application software for process manufacturers, and previously held senior executive roles at Ross Systems, a vendor of financial application software. Peter helped guide Datalogix and Ross through their initial public offerings and the sale of Datalogix to Oracle Corporation. He graduated from Baruch University with a degree in Business Administration.
